Semi-Custom Wedding Stationery
Your wedding invitations are the first part of your wedding that your guests will experience. A good invitation suite sets the tone and will get guests excited about your big day every time they see your card on the fridge or desk.
We offer semi-custom invitation suites that pair with our other wedding paper options such as save the dates, day-of stationery, thank you cards, and more. Semi-custom means that while the design elements won’t change that much, we’ll change all of the wording and colors and tweak things to look their best. A big part of this is all the little details on your invitation components. Whether you want a single invitation card that includes your wedding website, registry, etc., or an invitation suite with separate registry, rsvp, and accommodations insert cards, we can work with you to figure out the best wording and options. We also offer a few custom options like venue illustrations or monogram wax seals.
Our Process
Once you find a suite that you love, you can fill out the form at the bottom of this page to get started on your proposal. After going over the pricing and selecting all you must-have upgrades, you'll be able pay your deposit and secure your spot in our calendar.
After you've booked us and filled out your details questionnaire, you should receive your first digital proof from us within a week. This will include mockups of all your paper pieces, envelope color choices, embellishments, etc. You will then have two free rounds of revisions with proofs (3 total proofs); following rounds are $25 each.
Once you’re happy with how everything looks and you've triple checked all the details, we’ll send everything to print. If your items all have digital (regular) printing, you should be receiving your items about 3 weeks after you approve your final proof. Specialty items like foil, letterpress, and die cutting will take 2 extra weeks since custom plates/dies need to be ordered. Please inquire about rush services if you're on a tighter timeline.

What You'll Get:
When you order with Lottie Lou Stationery, you'll have the chance to pick all the items that you want to be included in your suite. Our basic package includes standard #120 eggshell finish card stock, colored envelopes, and digital printing; this base package runs $2-5 per suite, depending on quantity and number of items in your suite. If you're interested in paper or print upgrades, please indicate that on our inquiry form.
When you work with me, you'll be working with a designer who understands etiquette and tradition. You don't get that from sites like Minted or Zola. After all, aren't you hiring a designer so that you DON'T have to research all the etiquette rules?! I can provide all the fancy phrasing for your invitation, or you can make it personal with your own touch. Below is a list of some of our current offerings.

Printing Methods

Digital/Flat Printing
-
Standard
Digital printing is the basic, cost-effective printing method most people think of first. It's the same type of printing as your little home office printer, but with a bigger, better machine that prints colors like a charm! With digital printing there's no extra cost for extra colors and it's great for printing photos or watercolors. A simple card stock or even a thicker, more textured card stock works great with digital printing.

Foil Stamping
-
Premium
Foil stamping, which is sometimes just called gold foil, is a premium printing method that leaves an impression (with your guests and on the paper). Foil stamping works on a variety of papers and there's tons of foil colors to pick from! Metallic foils like gold, copper, and silver are the most common choices. Foil printing can also be mixed with digital printing if you're wanting to have foil on top of an image, or have other parts of the page in a different color.
Hoban Cards
Letterpress
-
Luxury
Letterpress is a more traditional printing method and though it requires a larger budget, it's the most beautiful and elegant in my opinion! Letterpress is traditionally only done with one color, since each color requires a separate plate that will be stamped into the page. One way to incorporate letterpress into a smaller budget would be to have only the main invite card letterpressed, and use digital printing on the other cards in the suite. Letterpress looks best on a thick, cotton stock.
